Who Are Slushy Noobz? Hamzah, Martin and the Name

Who are Slushy Noobz?
Two friends from Toronto. We're Hamzah Al-Emad and Martin Andrijasevic, a Canadian comedy-gaming duo. Together we're Slushy Noobz.
How did we meet?
On TikTok, first. We both got known on TikTok separately before we ever made anything together. Martin was posting sketches during the pandemic, and Hamzah reached out. Later Martin stayed at Hamzah's place in Toronto after an EDM festival, and in the end Martin moved to Toronto from Ottawa so we could make content together.
When did the channel start?
May 2023. That's when our YouTube channel went up, and our first video was "We beat the enderdragon". Since then it's been gaming videos, mostly Roblox and Minecraft, plus vlogs and mukbangs.
Where does the name come from?
ChatGPT, honestly. We asked it for a gaming-channel name built around the "wocky slush" meme, and Slushy Noobz is what came out. It stuck.
What else do we do?
A podcast, too. Out of Character is our podcast, and it has its own story, which we tell in another post on this blog.
What's in the store?
Our designs, on things you can wear. The pink bubble logo with the two of us and a slushy cup, Hamzah versus Martin, Live! Only on YouTube, Proud Slushy, a birthday cake with our name in red icing, and a few stranger ones. They come on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too, and every product page has its own size chart.
